SPRING/SUMMER 2025 FASHION WEEK PICKS

Fashion Week has taken over New York, London, and Milan to present numerous Spring/Summer 2025 collections. Each show has been the talk of social media for weeks, and we still have Paris Fashion Week left. Having watched numerous shows from each Fashion Week myself, here are my top three shows (so far): 

New York Fashion Week - Ralph Lauren (Spring 2025)

It’s hard to acknowledge to acknowledge American fashion without acknowledging Ralph Lauren. Hosted in The Hamptons with high-profile guests, including First Lady Jill Biden on the front row, the designer somehow managed to out-Americana himself. Each look was sophisticated, timeless, and wholesome without competing with other brands. The collection sticks to its signature aesthetic and redefines itself for this day and age. I’ll let this collection speak for itself.

London Fashion Week - Erdem (Spring/Summer 2025)

I enjoyed the chic blend of the masculine and the feminine, which felt perfect for the female gaze. The sleek, 1920s-inspired suits and flapper girl dresses were effortless chic and spurred a redefinition of nightwear in my mind. My favorite piece of the entire collection has to be that apple green dress from 6:51 to 7:01, which gives just the perfect amount of playful, fairytale princess vibes without feeling basic or cheesy. I felt the footwear could have been less distracting with a plain loafer or a pair of Mary Jane. The classical architecture of the show’s setting framed the collection as intellectual, sophisticated, and effortlessly elegant.

Milan Fashion Week - Gucci (Spring/Summer 2025)

This has to be my favorite Spring/Summer 2025 Collection so far. I felt an itch to reach for my wallet and sincerely shop the looks. I can envision myself wearing these designs daily. There is an aura of casual cool to each look that feels practical and realistic - a combination I value in any designer I check out. I love every look in this collection, but I can’t stop staring at the tassel trenchcoat and matching handbag from 27:07 to 27:32 - Perfect for a night out, a glammed-out brunch, or even a quick run to the grocery store. If you have to dress for chilly spring weather, you might as well look glamorous.
